Continuous Improvement Progress
Every new course is evaluated and approved by the MBA Academic Standards and Assessment Committee (ASAC) to ensure that the curriculum is appropriate and the quality of the work balances with the amount of credit. The Consortium MBA director and distance learning coordinator do a walk through with the course instructor/developer before the new course goes online.
Student Course Evaluations
Students complete a three question, mid-course evaluation on courses that are at least seven weeks long. The results of this anonymous survey go directly to the course instructor so adjustments can be made. Students also complete an extensive course evaluation at the end of a course. The results of this anonymous evaluation are reviewed by the course instructor and the ASAC. Changes are made as needed.
Faculty Course Evaluations
Through the maintenance and revision process, faculty members also evaluate their courses before each new offering. Changes are made as needed.
Student Phone Survey
Students are periodically surveyed via telephone for feedback regarding the MBA program. Results from this anonymous survey are reviewed by the ASAC and the MBA consortium deans and directors. Changes are made as needed.
