No matter what you studied while earning your undergraduate degree, you can earn an MBA to advance your career. The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium offers the following flexible, fully online options:

You can customize your degree through our diverse electives to help you accomplish your unique career goals.

Designed for working professionals, we strongly recommend that you have at least two years of post-baccalaureate professional work experience, preferably with career progression, before applying for the MBA or graduate certificate programs. However, we will consider candidates with limited or no professional work experience when their certificate or MBA degree applications demonstrate exceptional performance in other metrics considered during the application review.

Minimum Certificate and MBA Admission Requirements

To apply for our MBA or graduate certificate options, you must:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. You must submit an official transcript from your degree-granting institution before taking classes.
  • Have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale). If your GPA is lower than 2.75, we may still consider your certificate or MBA degree application, but you should consider submitting optional materials to provide additional information for the application review process.

The GRE and/or GMAT are not required for our programs.

Submitting Your Application

When applying for any of our programs, you will submit an application through the UW-Eau Claire graduate application system.

You will need to submit the following to be considered for admission:

  • Application
  • $56 application fee
  • Responses to two essay questions
  • Unofficial transcripts*
  • Resume
  • Contact information for two professional references

* While we can make an admission decision with unofficial transcripts, you must submit official transcripts to the UW-Eau Claire Admissions Office before taking classes.
